Born in 1937 in Ystalyfera and brought up in Ystradgynlais, South Wales. Since her retirement in 2002 as a senior lecturer in teacher training and head of the music department at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff, she embarked on a new career in Art & Design at the Cardiff School of Art & Design. An initial part-time COAS course for painting and printing lead to a two year part-time Foundation Course, which she completed with distinction. In 2005, she joined the BA(Hons) degree course in Fine Art at UWIC, majoring in sculpture. In 2007 she embarqued on a two-year, part-time, evening course on Fabrication, Welding & Sheet Metal Work at Coleg Glan Hafren in Cardiff. For her biography click HERE.
